Phew... when the last update was done earlier in the year it was freezing cold with unusually high amounts of snow and ice around.
However summer is here at last... lots of sunny, dry hot spells over the last few weeks and the weather will be yet again, taking it's toll on your garden.
The grass and the plants are all starting to dry up, so now is the time to get out the sprinklers, head to the garden centre to stock up on bedding plants and get the borders planted out and keep them well watered. Bedding plants will conintue to grow and flower throughout the summer providing fragrance and bursts of colour around your garden.
Your lawn receives constant punishment over the year from many things including children, pets and most of all the weather. Please refrain from fertilizing your lawn during the dry summer weather as this will actually do more harm than good, just keep it well watered.
What better way to chill out, unwind and forget about the woes of a hard day in the office than to sit back and relax in your garden and enjoy the summer.
